Job Decription:
Our client is a leading name in the retail sector and require a 1st/ 2nd Line IT Support consultant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for progression within the IT industry, working for a leading high quality retail organisation. Extensive in-house training will be provided for the right person, who will be assisting the IT support team with all aspects of infrastructure support. Core duties will include managing a helpdesk fault list/ system in conjunction with our ERP system supplier. Infrastructure support will include the setting up new of equipment (PCs, laptops, Servers, networks & telephones).
Microsoft Platform knowledge will be required, basic networking skills and retail industry experience would be an advantage. Excellent people and communication skills are a must for this role. You will be supporting not only the IT infrastructure but will play a key role in the on-going development of the company and the IT department. In House training will be provided to further develop the successful candidates skill set up to MCSE level. All candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge / experience Windows XP/2003, Active Directory, Exchange, LAN and WAN. Salary based on skills/experience.
